"A bird in flight, an approaching storm, a lighthouse's reassuring silhouette... these moments in time, I strive to capture with my photography."
After raising two daughters, Gloria discovered her passion for photography when, by chance, she found an old "film" camera. Raised in one of Carolinas gems, McClellanville, a small fishing village just north of Charleston, Gloria has had a lifelong affair with the beauty of light and color of the low country. As a former student of Virginia Forche Bolton, Gloria’s eye for color and composition flows naturally into the photography she creates. Her love of nature and the low country, fuels the passions she portrays through her images.
Highly regarded, collectors seek her work as she has the unique ability to seek and find those moments that are breathtakingly beautiful. Whether you are gazing at the marsh, a sunset, or a soaring eagle, you will be immersed in the stunning richness and depth of color... you'll even be able to smell the Pluff Mud.
